Trail running and UTA preparation don’t need to feel overwhelming. This workshop is about clarity, confidence, and community delivered locally for the Illawarra trail running community. 

This in-person workshop is designed to help runners across Wollongong and The Illawarra region feel confident preparing for trail running and Ultra-Trail Australia (UTA) whether you’re new to trails, racing UTA for the first time, or stepping up in distance.

Join us for Workshop 1 of our 3-part Trail Running & Ultra-Trail Australia Confidence Series, hosted locally in Port Kembla, just minutes from Wollongong.  

Expert Panel 

You’ll hear from a local panel including local accredited run coach Kath White who has raced and completed all distances at UTA, 7 Time UTA100 Finisher Michael Bilboe and Joshua Wiffen who has raced and completed several UTA50 & UTA100 over the last 10 years. This trio has extensive experience across Ultra-Trail Australia with their multiple UTA finishes, they also have extensive trail running experience, international ultra-distance races, and years of coaching and lived experience on the trails.
